  26. Most people don't know this, but Israel was founded thanks to groups like Irgun and the Stern Gang (Lehi). These organizations shot and bombed British peacekeepers to force a power vacuum in Palestine, just a few years after the same British troops did so much to defeat the Nazi regime. The lack of gratitude is reprehensible. Note that Menachem Begin and Yitzak Shamir were both involved with those terrorist organizations.

Embryos and fetuses aren't babies; they don't have personhood: sentience, the will to live, biological autonomy, and everything else that's taken away when a person is killed. In a rudimentary but very real way, babies have that. Embryos and fetuses don't and can't. They're in a quasi-parasitic state with the host, and thus the decision is hers. Nobody minds not being born.
