No, nobody should have that faith. However, with all of the self-incrimination, these people will mostly plead guilty.
8
Ironic because they call themselves Patriots, as opposed to Rebels?
7
You don't know what those words mean.
5
They do it to leftists (and/or marginalized people) all the time.
4
@quincyadams48 That's the point. If one has certain races/ethnicities/nationalities/etc. as "favorite people," that implies that others are less desirable, and that means that one doesn't think that "people are just people" and "everyone varies."
3
That's wrong on both counts.
2
Lunatic?
2
@quincyadams48 So, the implication is that there are also one's least-favorite people. There's a hierarchy.
2
Celestina Hernández You're putting people (as categories, not individuals) in the same category as food and colors?
2
must *have
2
First, this was a coup attempt, not an ordinary riot. Second, the cops were far more restrained here than they have been towards other, different protests. Why do you think that is?
2
No, Antifa were not involved, silly. As for breaching, were you paying attention!? There's lots of video of them battering through windows and doors. Some cops fought, others helped the rioters.
2
There have been a great many charges. Keep in mind that this was a coup attempt, and yet the cops were so restrained.
1
@JOE-xz4kx You're not entitled to your own facts.
1
They have. Besides, this was on an order of magnitude more serious- this was a coup attempt.
1
Who is "they?"
1
Antifa did not lead any charge (I shouldn't even have to tell you that), and there have been a great many arrests related to recent civil unrest. This coup attempt is much more serious.
1
Do you understand how problematic that is?
1
@quincyadams48 Sure thing. No need to apologize! (*you're)
1
@matthewjames7268 Okay, but I bristle at anything that sounds like what people said about my ancestors (and many others) when slamming the door shut on migration to the US in the 1920s, and when something similar happened in the UK in the 60s.

Please find reliable citations for this, please.

@nebulousJames12345 This guy is a crank with the Epoch Times. You know what that is, right?
1
@nebulousJames12345 First, Gateway Pundit is not even close to being a reputable source. I shouldn't have to point this out, but that site is absolutely beyond the pale, and I hope that I don't have to show you why. Second, all of the people being identified and/or arrested are rightists, none are Antifa, and the FBI (no fans of Antifa, and I should know) have made it clear that this was no "false flag" by Antifa or anyone else.
1
@nebulousJames12345 Regarding Sullivan, he's been known to activists for some time as a likely infiltrator/agent provocateur. https://twitter.com/VanillaBeanS57/status/1347888544459575302 As for Grimes, that article indicates that he wasn't arrested at the Capitol, and instead was in town on a foolhardy anti-Trump capacity.
1
@nebulousJames12345 Not at all. He's likely an agent provocateur and/or an infiltrator, in that he's cozied up to leftist groups, pretending to be one of them, only to do highly problematic things that get them in serious trouble. That's what such people do. They don't even necessarily have to be working for cops! It's an old story, and it can be very destructive. I've seen this firsthand. He's not working against rightists, or leftists wouldn't be warning people about him, plastering his face online, etc.
1
@nebulousJames12345 There's no evidence for that. You're also conflating the two people. Sullivan is duplicitous, and it looks like Grimes was, if nothing else, not there to support Trump.
1
@nebulousJames12345 If you look at the link, with the thread of information, you'll see that he's no leftist. Whether he's an infiltrator/agent provocateur, some sort of grifter, or both, activists figured him out at least a couple of months ago.
1
She just did.
1
That would have gotten them shot en masse.
1
I hate this stupid sport.
1
?
1
What the hell?
1
They did. Pay attention.
1
Wildly false equivalence. This was a coup attempt.
1
No one going after them? You haven't a clue.
1
Yes, as a matter of fact. Also, I'm not sure why you specify "blue states."
1
You're silly.
1
@alwaystrustinthelordone There is absolutely no evidence for any of that.
1
@alwaystrustinthelordone That's not a rebuttal.
1
You're silly.
1
First, Antifa and BLM have been treated much more harshly than this; second, "dem terror groups?" You don't know what you're talking about.
1
@shawncornell346 You have no idea who you're talking to. As for the rest, you're not even wrong. Communism? Silly.
1
You really haven't been paying attention, have you?
1
@homeschoolmomofone2497 The FBI works for "the democratics" (I guess you mean the Democrats)? They always have? You're ridiculous. Please, look at the history of the Bureau.
1
@Crossbones6679 Exactly, in some places the police let them in, which they would never do for Antifa!
