@quincyadams48 That's the point. If one has certain races/ethnicities/nationalities/etc. as "favorite people," that implies that others are less desirable, and that means that one doesn't think that "people are just people" and "everyone varies."

@matthewjames7268 Okay, but I bristle at anything that sounds like what people said about my ancestors (and many others) when slamming the door shut on migration to the US in the 1920s, and when something similar happened in the UK in the 60s.
