  6. First, if you're not armed (in whatever ways are feasible/comfortable for you), rectify that ASAP. Organize with people whom you trust. Spread the word. The MAGAts are. Second, some of these people only have a problem with the best forms of contraception (such as IUDs), as they think that those are abortifacients. Others, who have a problem with contraception in general, think that it allows people to have so much sex with a false sense of security that eventually there's a contraceptive failure. Others say that it creates a "contraceptive mentality" that makes babies become something that people don't want. Some Catholics just listen to what their Roman dictator says. In other words, it's all about sex.

If local LEO obey their mayors, and federal LEO obey the White House, and above all if the National Guard obeys its oath to the Constitution, then the MAGAts will fail spectacularly. If he wins... do you realize just how ghastly his plans are? There's a special section in the current Rolling Stone about it, and it's horrifying.

The attackers were yelling that they wanted to hang Pence, they were calling for Pelosi, they tried to barge into offices, they had flexi-cuffs and weaponry, etc. They wanted (this is not in dispute) to keep Trump in power. Some of them were indeed well-trained, and had been planning for some time. It was a coup attempt, or at least a putsch. The ignorance and arrogance of the perpetrators is beside the point.
