  2. @Texas_Toast666 The US Concealed Carry Association says that a shooter in such a situation is supposed to tell the police "I defended myself because I was in fear for my life." After that, the shooter is supposed to say that they will cooperate, but only with an attorney. Subsequently, say nothing more (exercising one's Fifth Amendment right) until assisted by an attorney.
