  1.  @TheWraith7  Did they not cover it at all? I would be surprised, as it was a relevant story. With that said, most of the casualties in those riots were the work of cops, vigilantes (shooting & ramming), accelerationist Boogaloo types, and apolitical lumpen. In any case, there's a big difference between civil unrest and a coup attempt.

  4. The coroner/M.E. made it clear that the attacks upon Sicknick played a role in his stroke(s). As for Babbitt, she was breaching the last line of defense before the people trapped in the gallery. It's true that if the police in that hallway had the usual riot gear they could have clubbed her/shot her with "less lethal" stuff at first, but they weren't equipped like that, and there was a big crowd behind her, and just a few of them.

  10. This is off the subject, but you know how Republicans such are always bashing "big blue cities" like L.A. and the Bay Area? The most dangerous parts of CA are the GOP-run areas like Fresno and Bakersfield! Now, they don't have the very serious problems that those bigger cities have these days, which just goes to show that neoliberal capitalist parties don't have the will nor the ability to deal with the problems that they create!
