  1. This sort of discussion never seems to address what one is supposed to do in the face of near-unanimous rejection from those one wants to date or befriend. Besides that, this trend isn't so bad when one realizes that we as a species need fewer of us, or these predictions about the turn of the century will be moot, as the earth will otherwise be uninhabitable.
