@Kurtarneaud There's nothing funny about this.

@jamalsmith5073 First of all, no. Second, what minors (especially pre-teens!) think that they want is not necessarily what's good for them! Do you realize how much psychological damage this causes?

There's nothing funny here.

Why are you laughing?

People are taking it more seriously now, hence the increased reporting.
4
@nhbountyhunter You understand that that's a fictional movie, right?
4
It's being taken more seriously now (albeit too many men still don't think that it's a problem), hence the increased reporting.
4
Disgusting. This behavior causes lots of psychological damage.

@kendi1417 Yes, victims, especially children, very often don't come forward. There's no "so-called" here. Why do you use that phrase?
2
@Anne10-k4u He was a decent person, apparently.
2
@gusgarza6529 There is no love here. This woman is a perv.

@thomasgormly6941 Schools are much safer than homes. Also, school shootings go back much longer than people think.
1
@STARIZZY458 They get groomed and manipulated. They're minors, and they can't consent.
1
@ShortFuseFighting This causes a lot of psychological damage, and attitudes like yours make it worse.
1
@mikealthouse7065 A decent person would have told. This is very harmful behavior. There's nothing funny about it. Do you not realize that? Do you think that it should be legal?
1
It's nothing new. It's just being taken more seriously now, hence the increased reporting.

@marathonlogistics9943 It's not funny for adults to do this to children.
1
It's not about not being able to "get" a man. She's a perv, that's all.
1
@nhbountyhunter Tell the adult to stop messing around with kids! Then, or perhaps at the same time, tell kids to stay away from such an adult. I had to look up "Donny Burger," and I don't know what that has to do with anything.
1
@america1st721 I'm not digging into the case, and that information isn't necessarily accessible, but why are you doubting how harmful this is? Note also that it gets worse over time for a lot of men, as they see kids of the age they were when it occurred, and become even more disturbed at being taken advantage of.
1
@LJay-pv8lm There's a little. It's awful.
1
@marathonlogistics9943 What's so funny?
1
@draco2xx This is not "love passion fruit." Minors who go through this, no matter what combination of sexes are involved, often have lifelong psychological problems with forming healthy relationships, boundaries, consent, trust, etc. There's nothing good about it. If you think that it's so great, do you want it to be legalized?
1
@feddi7693 The only luck here is bad luck. Minors who go through this, no matter what combination of sexes are involved, often have lifelong psychological problems with forming healthy relationships, boundaries, consent, trust, etc. There's nothing good about it. If you think that it's so great, do you want it to be legalized?
1
@CoolGuyDoingCoolStuff Cool? No, she's twisted and disgusting.
1
@RickMichaels-if5eq There's nothing positive about this. This usually causes a lot of psychological harm; men who have gone through this go on to have problems forming stable relationships, understanding boundaries, consent, trust, etc. If you think it's so great, do you think that it should be legal?
1
@RickMichaels-if5eq I hope that you're just trolling, as that's disgusting.
1
@RickMichaels-if5eq Disgusting.

@etherealbutterfly Homes are more dangerous than schools.

@Sinister64 The vast majority of child abuse, of this kind or any of the others, takes place in homes, perpetrated by family members, family friends, etc.
1
@Sinister64 I have to go back to front here- What does your religion have to do with any of this? How does that make sexual abuse less likely? Also, how do you know that none of your friends went through that sort of thing behind closed doors? Besides all of that, and this is slightly off the subject: Did you not have any non-Christian friends? As for a "messed up world," it's always been like that. However, things are getting better in this regard. Only relatively recently has this sort of thing been confronted in society at large, but there's still a long way to go. What I mean by this is that things occurring behind closed doors very often stayed there, except maybe when someone died as a result. Things are often different now. However, a large ongoing problem is that family members often won't believe another family member (particularly a child) who does speak up regarding abuse (especially sexual). After that, it's common for family members to refuse to disown/disavow the abuser, further hurting the victim/survivor.
