@judithdasta3969 You don't know what you're talking about. This predatory behavior has always happened, and only comparatively recently have we as a society taken it at all seriously. Do you have any idea how much predatory behavior was tolerated/ignored/praised not too long ago? Judging by the comments on stories like this, when the perpetrator is a woman, a lot of men still don't understand how awful this sort of thing is.

@gingyberrie This isn't partisan. It's only recently that enough people have become aware of how terrible this behavior is, and there's less ignoring/tolerating it. You know about conservative institutions like the Catholic Church, right?

@theyoutubeguy6 One can't prove a negative. However, look how this behavior, by anyone (mostly men), was swept under the proverbial rug/tolerated/ignored for so long. It's only recently that there's been any accountability. Thus, there's no reason to think that this sort of thing has become more common. All these reports are showing that more people are taking it more seriously.
