  6. No, Grady is not great. He's a reactionary, not to mention totally lacking self-awareness. He lambasts cities for supposedly being soft on crime and such, when all these crimes are happening in his jurisdiction!

  7. Those states have some of the larger populations. Maybe not TN, but you get the point. Look at the lists of states by population sizes. It's easy to assume that populations roughly match land area, but it's not even close. The drop-off is steep.
