  1. You know watching these incredible, awesome videos, interviews and all the cool stuff really is PAINFUL. At times. (Bet you didn't think I was gonna say that LOL). Because it's about things that a musician from that time that aspired to the things that were happening can no longer aspire to. Well I guess that's not completely true. But it's certainly not done or even nurtured and supported the way it was then. I know it wasn't easy but it was something that was possible. Now the only way to do things is to make an Audience first and then sell that hard work from building up your entire fan base to someone else. You have to be a salesman or business person first and an Artist second or even fourth. The gear is all digital (Well you know what I mean) and yes it's MUCH easier to record at a higher level of quality for way cheaper but that's what makes iit worse. Everyone and their dog or cat can make a recording and 90% of it is the computer and not actually talented people with hearts and souls pouring themselves into it. I'm sad now. I think I'll write another song no one will ever hear and that no one will ever care about. Sigh........
