It's not really a new phenomenon. People have (especially young folks) gone blindly for group or Clique type thinking for ages. Music is an example. Everything is segregated into "types" "If it's not Country it ain't music" "Metal or Nothing (or death? lol) etc. With BMW it's always about what people are doing with the cars and what era you are born into etc. The greatest representation IMHO of the coolness of BMW would be guys Like "Denver Beer and Oil" or (DBO) DBO youtube channel is amazing and "REAL" these guys just LOVE doing things to their BMW's and driving them! They aren't on YT to make huge money (well maybe some cash wouldn't hurt I'm sure LOL) but they LOVE the brand. IN another thirty years you will get the successors of their shop and others that are working on M2's and M4's etc. They'll be Turbo nuts (Well so are DBO) and they'll talk like we do about it all. Mark my old guy words LOL.
