  1. Okay there a few things that don't seem to ad up here. First the 289 V8 even in it's lowest HP set up in 1968 with the two barrel carb (which I guess this CS must have had) is 195 and 233 FTlbs torque. When you got onto the highway and "Punched it" I didn't hear the rpm change or any type of power delivery. Even a base 289 would have dropped a gear and revved up to a much more toque friendly gear. So I suspect something is wrong with that Mustangs automatic gear box set up and/or kick down switch and the secondaries that should have opened on the carb.

  3. Oh yes I AGREE!! If you own an "M6 or M5" from that era with the V10 DO NOT KEEP IT either!! You will regret every single day with it until you GIVE IT AWAY to your neighbor whom will take it off your hands and not even charge you to take it away!! NEVER NEVER buy one and just leave them all for guys like me who work on them and drive the heck burger out of them after I've put in the Getrag Manual 6 speed transmission. Thank you!!

  4. Had a 1973 280SE from 2008 to 2012. It was all love no hate. Mind you in the last two years the rust went so insane it ate it up in record time. Made me very sad. I did Hate that I couldn't have afforded to save it.
