  1. Why is it that the credit for the making of the first movie about this race (and others like it) is always given to "The Cannon Ball Run" Movie? "The Cannon Ball Run was not produced until 1981. Yet "The Gumball Rally (A far superrior Movie IMHO) was made in 1976. All these car enthusiasts should know this but I've been watching a lot of the "VINwiki" Videos and it seems that almost all (If not all) talk about the cannonball run as the "First Movie to come out on the actual race. Maybe this isn't imprtant in the annals of history to most people but to many of us I would think credit should go where credit is due.
