  3. 14:40 SO I'm VERY surprised that a 2 Liter front wheel drive based All wheel drive car tuned for Rally Sport gets that bad mileage after trying to drive like a conservative driver. I drive my E46 M3 on the highway and I'm NOT trying to drive conservatively and I still get around 23 MPG. The the S54 3.2 Liter Straight 6 (two more cylinders) tuned to Race spec all the time. So I wonder what???

  4. So a front wheel drive four door family sedan is a performance machine? Rarity does not make greatness automatically. This is a benign bland boring car you can't drift or even make it into something exciting. "Cool" is Not the adjective for it. "Nice" as in the beautiful girl telling the guy he's a "nice guy" is exactly where this fits. IMHO.

  6. Wait so the Dyno numbers are at the crank that means the car is making approximately 15% or so above the stated HP from the factory?? Or did they adjust the numbers afterwards to reflect the "At the crank" numbers? They don't really say what they did to calculate the numbers they are showing. But I suspected the numbers would be what the factory said or better as he has already done all the maintenance.

  10. If any of them called Mindy up and told her that the car she had gotten for Richard (or set him up with however that worked) is for sale again do you think he should buy it back? She would say yes for sure IMHO. I mean it's not like when he sold it because he wasn't as fully financially stable like he obviously is today.

  11. I'm not completely buying into the "Eventuri" explanation of what BMW in particular aims for at the factory when they design their air boxes. For some cars yes I believe his explanation is right on target. But when it comes to performance vehicles that's just not the case. Eg: The E46 M3 CSL. That air box was not only designed with "Quietness and regulations" in mind. Besides what are the "Regulations" on an air box?? Are there any other than "Clean the intake air" and is that even a "regulation"? I know the CSL air box is coveted by almost everyone but is so expensive few can afford it. I must say though he has sold me on his idea of the Venturi effect air box. At least it seems like it should improve air velocity.
