@birdyflying4240 exactly. what a lot of people don't realize is that every gain in crypto comes from someone else's loss. there is no wealth being created, in fact you could argue that wealth is being consumed because of the electricity required to run it that could have been used for more productive means in the economy.

@birdyflying4240 like it or not, everyone needs dollars in order to pay taxes. instead of touting bitcoin and crypto, people should instead be calling for the end of legal tender laws and allow currencies to compete. then we'll find out what people actually value, right now they are forced into dollars.

@birdyflying4240 i'm not a supporter of bitcoin by any means, but i wouldn't consider it predatory capitalism. it just goes off the old saying "a fool and his money are easily parted".
