@bluenami7520 We're not talking about wealthy people, we're talking about wealthy locations/economies. You can't go into rural Africa and enact an economy and expect the local people to pay 30% income taxes and pay $15/hr minimum wage. The local economy doesn't have enough circulating wealth to afford the cost of running a modern society. A society can only tax what it's economy can handle.

@bluenami7520 unless millionaires move en masse to a particular location (in this example), the growing of wealth is a gradual process. the processing of natural resources using capital goods and technology is a great way to create wealth.

all of those cryptos try so hard to not be fiat, but at the end of the day they were all created by man, just like fiat, and they can be replicated into infinity. the only truly finite thing we have on earth as far as money goes is precious metals.

@mustafabaris9681 at the very least, you can say he underestimates our ability to kick the can down the road, yes. i mean, QE is bigger than ever. but, until the Federal Reserve and US government change their course, is it wrong for someone to say "look where we're heading"?
