@bonsa1guy except we're not talking about DC, we're specifically talking about CAPITOL GROUNDS. Trump could not deploy NG troops on federal land without a request. the chain of command passed along a request for NG troops which was ultimately ignored by PELOSI.

@bonsa1guy Trump can't deploy the NG on federal land, someone has to request the troops. the request was denied by Pelosi.

@bonsa1guy no, it starts with the capitol security which is overseen by Pelosi. had she done her job, her request would've been moved to the Secretary of Defense, yes.
