  1. not when patients continually go septic from "bladder infections" and go to the ER every few weeks. at a certain point, quality of life matters more than "treat this because we can".

  2.  @cathybassett6432  i'm just saying, at a certain point the body can't provide it's own immunity so more and more heroic efforts are required in order for the body to overcome an infection that would pose no problem for healthy individuals.
