@jamescollins3647 the US is currently the most regulated and taxed in its history, for starters. we just experienced a pandemic where individual rights were put on the backburner all in the name of "safety". do you want me to go on?

@jamescollins3647 think of a spectrum, on one end we have total authoritarianism, on the other end, we have total anarchy. the ideal government is going to be somewhere in the middle, but currently we are trending towards total authoritarianism, and there is nothing wrong with wanting to return to a freer society. just because you support that does not mean you support total anarchy.

@jamescollins3647 i think we're on the same page. my original point still stands--everyone wants more freedom for themselves, even dictators.
