The Left: "Insane asylums are inhumane!!" Also the Left: "Why are so many mentally ill people committing violent crimes??"

The "time out" generation has grown up and incidents like this are the consequence. Something tells me this "man" was never beat with a belt as a child growing up.

@bobbywilsonfunfaithfamilymusic the problem with people like you is that you're brainwashed to believe that something must be done at any given time. sometimes the best answer is to remove government from the equation and let WE THE PEOPLE figure it out.

America had a higher gun ownership per capita rate in the past compared to now, so if guns are the problem, why wasn't gun violence such a problem in the past?
3
@alib9937 you completely ignore the fact that before the government got involved in healthcare, it was a lot simpler and cheaper, too. maybe the solution is simply "do nothing" or better yet, undo the bureaucracy of healthcare (in the US) that has been accumulating for 60 years.
3
@ec6052 We had higher gun ownership per capita in the past, why is it NOW becoming a problem? If guns were the problem then America would have always had a high level of gun violence, but that clearly isn't true.
3
@alib9937 because mental illness reform isn't a quick fix, politicians only support quick fixes.
2
@alib9937 so because it supposedly has one good quality despite numerous bad ones, therefore it doesn't deserve to be rightfully overturned? congrats, you fell into the trap of politics.
2
@sandraiventosch8555 probably bots

@jewishgirl1581 Well you have to ask yourself why was gun violence not a problem 50+ years ago when there was a higher per capita gun ownership rate compared to today? If guns are the problem, America would have always had a higher level of violent gun crime, but it has only increased recently. It's a recent cultural issue, first and foremost. It's not the guns. We need to bring back mental institutions to house these people who are a threat to themselves and society.
2
blame the FEDERAL RESERVE which has purposely inflated the cost of living so much that it requires both parents working in order to make ends meet.
2
@Tasty Toast so you agree that the guns are not what's changed, good. it's a cultural problem.
2
America actually had a higher per capital gun ownership rate in the past but didn't have nearly the same level of gun violence. If guns are the problem like you claim, what changed?
2
Games like 'Call of Duty' wouldn't be so popular if there weren't a huge DEMAND for them. You gotta ask yourselves why there is such a huge demand for "shoot em up" video games. Blaming the games is putting the cart before the horse.
2
@robo825 because there are more guns in the US than people, no other country has as many civilians owning guns as the US does. why? because we have a 2nd amendment. I don't want any comparisons between the US and other countries unless that country also has a right to bear arms.
1
America does not take care of its mentally ill. America has a different culture than other countries. Not all countries are the same.
1
@bluemax92 entertainment in the sense that the show is literally called "The Tucker Carlson Show" as offers a heavy dose of his opinion via interjections, but the stories he reports on are real, the people he interviews are real, etc.
1
the 2nd amendment, which actually doesn't stipulate age requirements at all.
1
@jewishgirl1581 i won't argue that, overprescribing is a problem, but we also lack the infrastructure to deal with the psychotic, and prison certainly isn't a solution, either.
1
Are all countries the same? America has a different culture than Europe, Mexico, etc. It's a cultural issue, exacerbated by a mental illness crisis.
1
@munhumutema8970 But like Tucker pointed out in the video, America had a HIGHER per capita gun ownership rate 50 years ago. In other words, more people owned guns but we didn't have nearly the same amount of gun violence. Nice America hating you have going on, by the way.
1
@ec6052 no other country had an amendment to bear arms.

No, Trump revealed the Left as the hateful people they are. They and the media needlessly spent 4 years fighting a president when we should have been coming together in supporting him. Imagine what this country could have achieved if the left got over their egos and embraced the love of the country like the right?
1
@samachema because we have a 2nd amendment unlike any other country. it was CREATED FOR A REASON.
