  1. Taxation is part of the social contract - the mutual agreement that there are some things that government does better than individuals or corporations. Things like national defence, building roads, locking up criminals, etc. The problem comes when government starts doing things that it ought NOT be doing - especially when the citizenry disagree. Sorry, I put nuance into a simplistic kneejerk reaction situation. #akgnotificationsquad
