  1. I will push back at your claim of 'significant' setback. It's a spectacular hit, certainly, but Russia has another dozen such craft. It's only got a load capacity of 500 tons; that's not a lot compared to regular cargo ships with capacities in the thousands of tons. The biggest value that the Project 775 ships bring is the ability to offload in primitive harbors and even across the beach. But that's still not a major lift capability. Nuisance value, ultimately - impressive, but not a war-winner. More important, in my opinion, is the recent loss of Su-34s. That has relieved pressure on the Dnipro bridgehead, allowing Ukrainian forces to consolidate and reinforce without having to dodge FAB-500 and -1000 glide bombs.
