Important side fact - Joe Stalin is EXACTLY responsible for the title and imagery of the novel "1984" - In 1934, a reporter asked Stalin when there would be true communism* and Stalin replied "In fifty years." i,e. in 1984. *Communist ideology posits that society must pass through multiple stages - including monarchy and capitalism - before true communism can be achieved. @antoniograncino3506 all "-isms" are flawed. Some, more deeply than others. Any theory or philosophy of government or even of personal conduct is going to fail, hard, if it doesn't take into account basic human nature.
