  1. As a Russian, I'm actual shocked. In Russia a 1000 people got criminally charged for saying something online (from posting swastikas to talking about separatism) since 2010. It's actually hard to believe that the situation with the free speech in Europe is somehow worse. Especially considering that we are at war atm

  2.  @danp2306  in Russia you can freely express your hatred towards someone, but you will receive a fine if you offend someone directly. So you can say that you hate certain groups of people and they should be deported, but you can't call them subhumans for example. And you will only receive a 100 dollars fine if that's the first time you said it in a year. But yeah, that's also far from a free speech
