@ultimaratio7373 people travel through tree lines to be less visible. Donkeys help carry the load. Equipment leaves trails and flying dust, plus draws attention to the trench with soldiers. It's also a different kind of war, you can't produce more armoured vehicles than your enemy can produce drones. So you have to use what you have, including donkeys, scooters, golf cars and ground robots US lost in Afghanistan, but not because they lacked equipment. And yet they still used donkeys sometimes because why not

To soldiers have to walk on foot for 10-15km to deliver supplies to the frontline. Scooters could slso be good, but they can't move in mud. So donkeys are pretty good in this environment US lost in Afghanistan not because of usage of donkeys

Russo Ukrainian war is similar to the war in Georgia Georgia started bombing South Ossetia for trying to leave, Russia stepped in, Georgia gave up and let south Ossetia go, Russia left and both countries lived in peace ever since. Ukraine could have done the same if their leaders were as smart. So history shows us that Putin doesn't like when countries bomb civilians at Russian borders and honour his deals when the other side honours them too.
