Putin or any other Russian official never said anything about 3 days. But Ukrainian commanders did promise to drink coffee in Crimea a month after 2023 summer offensive

@jonathancowan2251 you're quoting random people who have nothing to do with Russian military
2
@war-painter when did he say it? 3 days worth of food is a standard amount of food to carry of yourself in any army.
2
Do you support the internationally recognised borders of China ? Or do you support the independence of the Crimea from Ukraine and independence of Taiwan from China?
2
@kadovax6567 Wars aren't linear. Russia was taking 400-800km² per month in 2024 compared to 400km² in entire 2023, so Russia did accelerate 12-24 times in a year. But percentage of the land is irrelevant since Russia doesn't need to take Lvov to force Ukraine to give up
2
@ImperialDiecast So Ukraine kidnaps people off streets for no reason?
2
@PappaTom-ub3ht too bad that Ukraine lost half of its population since 2014, got into huge debt and has to kidnap people off streets to force them to fight. It's not like Ukraine will be able to afford to keep an army if they want to repay all the debt within a hundred years
1
@malcolmgibson5088 It was Putin who said that Russia has almost 700k in Ukraine in 2024. And it was Syrsky who said hay Russia has 640k troops in Ukraine now. But in 2024 Yusov (spokesmen of defence intelligence of Ukraine) said that Russia has 600k soldiers in Ukraine So according to Ukraine - Russia grew their presence in Ukraine by 40k in a year, not counting soldiers in Kursk and Belgorod
1
@kadovax6567 you can be a Jew and a nazi. He gave ovations to Ukrainian nazi in a Canadian parliament too. Ukraine isn't in a war officially. They can have elections, just like they had elections while bombing the Donbas. And you can vote online easily
1
@jonathancowan2251 Russia also "found" plenty of documents suggesting that Ukraine is losing millions of soldiers. And it's all extremely easy to fake But yeah, the war could have been over fast even Zelensky was smart enough
1
@malcolmgibson5088 so you're quoting Lukashenko who speaks nonsense 24/7 just like Trump and some comedian. Nice argument bro
1
@ptonpc The left can't meme. As always
1
@sammiller6631 and yet noone said it
1
@jonathancowan2251 do you think Russian mod gave her secret plans for invasion? There's no such thing as "mouthpiece". Russian state media, just like any media, hire people with similar opinions as theirs. They can critique the government, but they agree on most of the issues. So she isn't getting some instructions on what to say or on military planning
1
@Pikkabuu Well, surely that was the preferred possibility. Unfortunately Zelensky wasn't smart enough to give and and negotiate fast
1
@mac_mcleod interesting. Can you quote him so I could find it? Because al Jazeera has his unredacted speech and there are no "3" and no "three". And the only thing Google showed me is "allegedly Putin's speech was filmed 3 days ago" Sooo. Can you give his quote? Because not a single Russian official gave any promises to take Ukraine or a certain city in any given amount of days
1
@kaptainkaos1202 so you're confusing random people on talkshows say random nonsense with Russian officials. Peskov, who's an actual Putin's spokesman, hasn't said anything
1
@b4nterontilt that's exactly my point. That's it's funny to see how random people spread the blatant propaganda about potential Russian plans. What are you yapping about?
1
Who told you that nonsense? Even western generals admitted that Russia is producing 3 times more artillery ammo than entire NATO. Add to the equation NK and Trump refusing to give Ukraine weapons
1
There are many forests in the north. It would be difficult to utilise biggest Russian advantage in artillery and bombs. So Russia would need to sacrifice a lot of men to take land in a war of attrition, which isn't a great thing
1
Why would you believe blatant and obvious propaganda about Russian losses? Do you realise that Russia is losing far less soldiers than Ukraine and was growing its army with only volunteers for over 2 years, unlike Ukraine, which has to kidnap people off streets in order to keep up with their losses? And do you realise that its much easier to hit a group of soldiers with standard grenade dropper than with a rifle and its recoil?
1
@caffetiel Crimean parliament asked for Russian assistance and then voted to join Russia. How is this not the same thing?
