@richardjoseph9002 I'm not gonna argue about moral aspects of supporting the rebels, but NATO did the same thing in like 30 countries in last 60 years. Do you think Obama is also evil for supporting rebels in Syria? Do you think all American presidents are evil for supporting Taiwan?

I mean, Ukraine was shelling Russians near Russian borders for 8 years with cluster ammo (which even Human Rights Watch admitted) and dammed river to Crimea to deliberately starve 2 million people Who would have guessed that wars can be provoked. Anyone who reads history books I guess

@phild3936 Funny how Nazis from Right Sector throwing Molotovs at police is just an "election with no coup", but when protesters in America walking in an empty capitol, then it's a coup attempt, it's ok to shoot them and everyone who did it should be charged with treason. @neilbadger4262 it was before 2014 coup and before Ukrainian government sent troops to blow up a quarter of their population for disagreeing with the new government they didn't vote for

It's indeed an existential war for Ukraine because they already lost half of their population due to immigration. If they won't stop now - there will be no Ukrainian nation in a few generations. But letting go of a few rebel regions won't affect them at all
