@christianf.7400 Ukraine literally banned movies and TV shows in Russian language, they also destroyed statues of Pushkin. In Russia every region is allowed to learn their native language. Kids in Ukrainian SSR also had to study Ukrainian in schools.

Budapest's memorandum states that Ukraine should have remained sovereign and independent, but they lost sovereignty in 2014 coup. Also codes for those nukes were in Moscow, so Ukraine would have to pay Russia to get rid of them anyway

And He wasn't a dictator, unlike Zelensky who banned men from leaving Ukraine and ordered to snatch them off streets to throw them into the military Also evidently Ukraine isn't independent since it was Boris Johnson who ordered Ukraine to stop negotiations, which even the head of Ukrainian negotiation team Arahamia admitted. Also Ukraine was forced to start the 2023 summer offensive despite Zaluzhny and Zelensky telling everyone about the lack of weapons for it. Ukraine is also prohibited from using certain types of weapons on Russian territory. By all accounts Ukraine is a puppet

@LogicaetRatio-r8z there are quite a few dictators in post soviet countries, but Yanukovich wasn't one of them, he was elected normally, he was much less authoritarian than Zelensky
