@catkatzi3320 not really, since Russia is second biggest weaponry exporter in the world. Russia is capable of building tons of equipment and get few millions soldiers to fight
5
@rob-8928 that's why entire world still uses them? What else you gonna say, keyboard expert?
5
@normanmadden Pretty sure that at the beginning Russia only wanted Lugansk, Donbas and Crimea thay were fighting Ukraine or were part of Russia for awhile. So nothing would have changed for Ukraine in general. But now Ukraine is in ruins
5
@rob-8928 how so? Even old tanks are destroying enemy soldiers, blowing up buildings and 10 centimetres of steel protect people a lot better than nothing at all. Of course old tanks aren't as good in tank v tank combat, but they are as good as new in everything else. Btw, American Abrams was made in 80s
4
@rob-8928 Russia was building t72 in soviet union under complete iron curtain, thousand per year. And in modern world it's not that hard to get anything on black market. Especially since you're surrounded by allies and poor countries. And since Russia is huge weaponry exporter - surely they have tons of equipment in storages
1
@arnoldmags1996 you're right about 50yo tanks. But to kill tank crew you need a javelin or multiple of them. To kill average soldier - you just need a bullet. If i was a soldier - i would prefer seating in a tank Btw, what tank can survive many javelin shots?
1
@rob-8928 if not a single tank can survive a proper javelin hit, why would you say "especially Russian tanks"? If i say that no-one can survive a bullet in the head, I won't add "especially people from new Zealand" Can you give a name of video (cos yt is blocking links a lot) where civilian drone dropped grenade on Russian tank and blew it's top off? Everything i found - drones dropped grenades and nothing happened. I also saw a video of Russian tank surviving javelin hit from above in urban warfare (cos it was too close for javelin to get proper speed), but surely javelin had more speed and more power than random grenade that was dropped from civilian drone. So im very curious about your video
1
@rob-8928 well, tank survived many grenades, few crew members run away, driver reacted too slow. And both sides only show success footage. So i doubt that civilian drones with grenades are reliable at destroying tanks. But very interesting and thanks for the link. Im sure people who controlled the drone are really proud for taking out something that expensive with little to no afford

@normanmadden if i was beating up my wife and kids for not obeying me and someone came to beat me up and save my family from me - i would understand it indeed

@normanmadden Ukraine dammed the river to Crimea that supplies 80% of freshwater to the region, deliberately starving 2 million people. Zelensky threatened to build nukes on Munich conference. Ukraine kept bombing Donbas civilians despite Minsk agreement. More than enough reasons to invade them. And more than enough reasons for eastern Ukrainians to be part of Russia. Donbas was fighting for their right to choose their future. And for Ukraine to sacrifice entire country to hold on to territory that doesn't want to be part of Ukraine is evil
1
@alanberka4226 NATO funded this war and lied about Minsk agreement (which Merkel admitted) to escalate civil war in Donbas enough to provoke Russia to step in
1
@alanberka4226 NATO (Germany and France) was part of Minsk agreement and they were supposed to stop the war in Donbas. But instead they were funding Ukraine, training their soldiers, giving them weapons and it all was needed for future war with Russia (according to Merkel and Hollande). So Russia was trying to stop the war, while NATO was trying to escalate it
1
@alanberka4226 well, NATO supported Kievan coup, during which some NATO puppet billionaires and nazis overthrew DEMOCRATICALLY elected government. So obviously people who voted for this government were unhappy. And just like in all Ukrainian elections before coup - majority of Eastern Ukraine was voting for pro Russian candidates, especially Donbas Lugansk and Crimea. So obviously these regions were resisting the most There's no evidence that Russia was supplying weapons to Donbas. OSCE was checking all vehicles with Russia's help to Donbas and haven't found anything except for food, water, clothes and medicine But are you listening to me? Merkel and Hollande both admitted that NATO tried to escalate this conflict and they weren't actually trying to stop the war in Donbas with Minsk agreement Btw, you're calling those rebels terrorists. But according to UN - 80% of civilian casualties were on rebel controlled territory, so it was Ukraine who deliberately bombed civilians, not other way around
1
@alanberka4226 i never said NATO invaded Ukraine, stop acting dumb. If I'm gonna jump around you on street, annoy you, call you bad words etc and you will punch me - yes, you're the one who attacked me, but i was the one who wanted to get punched to sue you for money
1
@alanberka4226 you never asked why Russia does this, conversation was about NATO. But here some examples Ukraine dammed the river to Crimea that supplies 80% of freshwater to the region, deliberately starving 2 million people. Zelensky threatened to build nukes on Munich conference. Ukraine kept bombing Donbas civilians despite Minsk agreement. And also Angela Merkel admitted that Minsk agreement was made to rearm Ukraine for future wars, instead of stopping the war in Donbas. More than enough reasons to invade them I'm also curious, what should have Ukraine done to justify invasion in your eyes? Have you supported invasions NATO (prob your country too) launched? And have you overthrown your government for starting them? Have you called your president "dictator" for participating in war? And who was thrown in jail for sending troops to war? And I'm really curious where are you from
1
@alanberka4226 where are you from?
1
@alanberka4226 no, I'm curious if your country is a NATO member, so i would know if your country also invaded someone and would you call your leaders dictators too for doing it So where are you from? Don't be ashamed
1
@alanberka4226 you aren't from NATO, but almost every year you have skirmishers at your Pakistan borders. Who's the evil dictator there?
1
@alanberka4226 I'm not excusing anything, i just don't like hypocrisy. Your country also bombs civilians and having small war against Pakistan almost every year. Are you also living in a dictatorship? Or wars are more complicated than "good vs evil"?

It's funny how before the war Biden literally said "if Russia attacks Ukraine - i will put an end to Nord Stream" and after Nord Stream was destroyed all western media accused Russia of destroying their own property
