  1. The bikes are bespoke-built exclusively for this type of racing and they're not road legal. This is probably the only professional motorised sport where 2-stroke engines weren't banned yet. 3:25 - That guy is the rider's "coach" (so to speak) and he's allowed to be on the course to help guide the rider, on the more difficult obstacles, but he isn't allowed to help the rider overcome the obstacles, he's there only to assist the rider in case he falls or he's in a potentially dangerous situation, like you saw on a few occasions in the video. 🙂
