The camera mic, the video editing, processing, rendering (especially with the technology avalable when this was recorded) and YT's compression losses, all filter the real sound considerably and the final result is mostly mid and high frequencies. The reality is much louder across the whole frequency spectrum. Been there, done that in the 90's at Estoril (Portuguese GP) and in the V10 era! I was on the stand at the end of the main straight but I heard that the organisation was handing over ear plugs to the people with grand stand tickets. 🙂 PS: I don't know if you noticed but the guy was also using ear plugs.
