  8.  @d4a  - I don't know what they call them, all I know is that when I look at a Ducati engine I see an L, not a V. If engines with that configuration are called that way because of the resemblance to the letter V, then there's no way a Ducati engine can be called a V-twin. The only way it could be called a V-twin would be if both cylinders were pointing up, regardless of the angle.
