We have to get those easy on crime judges out NOW!

Why would you wanna move off the street if you’re given everything you need for free w/o having to obey any rules? What would happen to them in Beijing? Coming soon.
15
So the solution is to throw millions of dollars for these people? Their choices are what put them there. Spend the money on reducing student loan debt or improving K-12 schools instead!
6
And then they defunded the police! What could possibly go wrong?
5
Or landlords just trying to keep up with astronomical property taxes, on top of skyrocketing utility bills plus high mortgages. Then they have rental fees & no rights as a landlord from city leaders….? Landlords are selling to developers. Chuck it! Why bother? Haven’t even mentioned repairs & maintenance yet. Forget it!
4
But they’re not. They’re talking out of both sides of their mouths. Making it so hard on landlords, they’re just selling out to developers, & the city isn’t enforcing the mandate they build affordable housing. So it just gets worse.
4
What started out as a good idea has had bad consequences, especially for mom$pop landlords. They’re swamped in debt, bc they haven’t had any income to keep their Rentals and many tenants have taken advantage. Landlords are selling out, causing evictions. Can you blame them?
3
@elseascotty9346 they come from all over the country bc of all the lax laws & easy, free handouts.
3
Then watch as that area gets SKYROCKETING CRIME. I wonder if the two are connected somehow? Maybe the city council should do a million dollar study….?

It’s what happens when you give stuff free. It didn’t cost them anything, so they don’t value it. They trash it. Then complain cause stuff is broken.
2
Entitlement.
2
Ya think? Time to start voting for Republicans. Ann Davidson was a start. We’ve seen what socialists give us.
2
@claytonjames4779 then if you don’t like it; change your decisions & don’t EXPECT OR DEMAND free shit from ppl that work.
2
@rdelamadrid right there with you. So many of us are. It’s called RAGE.
2
So, who pays the taxes on that place? How about utilities? What about insurance? Think about maintenance if something breaks or needs replacing? Who pays for that? What’s “free”? Oh, the air!
2
It’s big business man!! They get all this funding, but don’t have to show efficiency reports or open their books to city auditors!!!
2
News flash; if you put yourself in a position where you’re a burden on people, the city & budget, you get whats coming to you. The bad choices you made are your responsibility, not anyone else’s.

Welcome to communism. KuntShama would be so proud!

@kevinmsft that’s my thought. Duterte has the right idea. Straighten up or else. No one has the time or money to spend on their worthless asses.

We need better leadership. Locally and state wide. Even if you vote, our choices suck.
1
Bingo! That’s what I think. Like internment camps. If you can clean up your life, you get to leave. Otherwise, you’ve proven you need 24hr babysitting, that where you stay. One camp for mental cases, one for drug addicts, one for families.
1
Until we give them a free ride out to the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Shark bait.
1
There’s no money for it. Ronnie Reagan saw to that in the 1980s, so he could give his über rich pals a tax break. Then Trump doubled down.
1
@JK-co4lz I thought about that. But if individual states fund mental or drug issues, they’ll come from everywhere. Just like we’re seeing in Seattle, SanFran, LA, etc. we cannot saddle the local tax base with a national problem. This has to be on a federal level so every state has the funding & means to deal w this instead of pushing it off on a few states.

How? Had a friend who burned thru her inheritance, her sisters inheritance, and the nephew’s inheritance on rehab & still she died of an overdose. Now the nephews have student loans up to their ear lobes. It’s too bad she didn’t OD back when she was 20. Maybe that’s the answer. Give ‘em all the drugs they want.
