  1. Shannon, you’re correct in many ways. A lot of what you say is true; there are three kinds of ppl out there drugging. The mentally ill that should be institutionalized but Reagan defunded it all in the 1980s. Ppl that got hooked due to our corrupt health policies. Ppl that are willfully hooked on drugs and enjoy the anarchy and criminal life. We can parse this down to minutiae, but the fact remains that because I am a productive, minimally successful person, my taxes go up up up every time I turn around because I was born with the decree that I must pay for all these ppl until I am homeless myself. Correct? I have dealt with violent, drugged out ppl cruising my neighborhood looking for anything to steal from me for their next fix, and I am SO ANGRY, do you think I care what their stories are?

  2. It’s good to try to help, but where does the line get drawn? Helping 5,000 ppl might be OK but what if it’s 33,000 or 126,000 ppl that are out there drugging, stealing and polluting our streets and neighborhoods? Treatment and more treatment free housing, food mental health? Then tax ppl that are productive right into the poor house for these losers?
