A lot of people are upset about Bernie not being there and Biden basically being a Republican lite. While they're not really wrong, Trump HAS to go.

@mayman4255 The OP is correct. Here in Canada, Biden would even be considered more conservative than Justin Trudeau. But Trump needs to be voted the hell out. Only in America would Biden be considered really left...in sane countries, Bernie would be just considered left and not "radical"...

@TheHuxleyAgnostic Canadian here. He'd still shift a little bit right even on social issues than the Liberal party here. Economically, the way our Conservative party is now, no. They've been shifting further to the right in the last 6 or 7 years. We generally consider the Liberal party center or slightly left of center, with the exception of Alberta.

@TheHuxleyAgnostic I worry that Trump style radicalization isn't beyond them. The precedent has been set by the Tea Party movement in the US and accelerated by Trump. Not sure what province you're in, but here in Ontario, Doug Ford was pushing in this direction before Covid hit. I'm ok with conservatives, even if I don't agree with them. Radicalized Trump style crap is not welcome here. I hope they resist it.
