If you broke your leg, you'd be able to go in and get it fixed and back to work in a timely fashion. Just like here in Canada.

@ModernRelic69 as someone who survived severe ulcerative colitis (had my illeostomy done in 1999) I was having them once a month to watch for bowel cancer. No medical bill.

@tlovesjesus6788 in 1999, due to severe ulcerative colitis, I had to have my bowel removed. Yes, I have the bag. The colitis was so bad that my body was really in bad shape. I wound up slipping into a two month coma and died on the table. Had to be operated on twice more when I was out. I'm glad I live here-I asked my surgeon what kind of a dollar value that was. He said between keeping me alive and then having to do things they had never done before at the time, he said just shy of a million. I'm so glad I live in Canada.
