What is amazing to me is that random people like you make it seem like consciousness was not an extremely marvelous and amazing thing, we literally live with it and there is still people that want to put the whole humanity as some kind of amoeba.

@MosheFeder It still is completely unable to demonstrate how qualia emerge from those electro-chemical and/or neuronal patterns (or even able to describe it in any meaningful way), physicalism is a sad belief.

How exactly "happiness", "sadness" or "loneliness" is a "description of an action"? There is no action in being sad, it is a state description rather than an action description, whereas action appears to mean "something initiated and performed", but we do not perform those things at all.

3:15 It appears to me that now you got a problem with Searle, not Penrose. Being able to "prove" something with symbolic reasoning is not the same as understanding it, it is not even significative by itself, symbolic reasoning is only possible because we put meaning into the symbols, there is not an intrinsic to the machine meaning of those proofs without a human mind behind. But I'm not a physicist, not a logician, so this is just a little bit of salt here.

@MosheFeder On the contrary, Occam's Razor cannot be on the side of theories that arbitrarily eliminate basic entities of the proposition, saying it would "favor it" would be the same as saying a "theory of eliminative universe, where matter don't exist" (like some solipsist ideas or some variants of idealism) would be favored by Occam's Razor instead of the entirety of modern physics because they "remove entities". If your opposition of "multiple entities" entails in the exclusion of a basic thing that is literally present in the everyday lifes of 8+ billion people, it is probably not the most fit answer to the question. (I would characterize it as a sad thing because it is the denial of any kind of values or higher perspectives, it is just the most crude version of naturalism.) And maybe you'll find me annoying for what I will say next, but take this as an act of respect for you. You are on the verge of the average human lifespan, please consider repenting on your sins and accepting Christ, there is always time for this while you are alive. The Catholic Church is always welcoming.

@drewdaly61 I think your definitions are inherently flawed tho, the own notion of "illusion" bears no meaning without pressuposing a consciousness to be illuded in the first place.
