  2. Indeed. The scientific approach actually requires you to revise theories as more evidence emerges that challenge existing models. Our understanding of the world today is not the be-all, end-all. We are simply closer to the truth than say 100 years ago, but can still be wrong. Here's hoping future generations will know even better than we do. What we can do for them is continue to nurture the scientific approach so they may continue to have the most solid foundation we can provide to build upon.
