  1. ​ @MrWolfSnack Indeed. Even if she qualified in another country, like the UK, France, Germany, etc., she still can't just go practice in the US, and vice versa. Each country has strict requirements for health care professionals, and there will often be extra requirements for training and assessments before you will be allowed to transfer your practice.

All people have to do is take a look at even just a few anatomy illustrations to see what structures are in your face: skin, muscles, bones, joints, fascia, nerves, blood supply... every single one of these can be adversely affected if you have an unqualified person operate on the area, to say nothing of other parts of the body a botched procedure can affect.
