  2. Everything you brought up is factually correct. Most of these examples were from before the Queen was even born, however. The Bengali famine was Winston Churchill's doing, as you said. Where does the Queen come into this?

  3. I can give you the perspective from Hong Kong. She represented the days that Hong Kong progressed and prospered, even if she was symbolic. We had a little taste of democracy towards the end of British rule. It's far better than the regression under the Chinese today. It's why the line outside the British Consulate to pay their respects on Monday was 5 hours long.

  6. That's not true. The line to pay respects to her at the Hong Kong British Consulate was 5 hours long on Monday. There will likely be lines every day until Friday.
