Remember the run-up to the mid-terms in 2018, when they played up the border crisis, even stationing more guards that meant they had to miss Thanksgiving? What happened as soon as that election was over? Suddenly, it wasn't a crisis, and all those extra guards went home.

@onetrueslave The government has an army, a navy, an airforce, equipped with guns, bombs, mines, tanks, fighter jets, battleships, drones, radar, sonar... What's a couple of guns out of the vast collection each gun nut has going to do?

Remember the invading caravan of 2018? All that build-up about stationing more guards at the border in the run-up to the midterm elections? Taking people away from Thanksgiving. As soon as those elections were over, all of that rhetoric suddenly went silent, as if the looming catastrophe suddenly wasn't.
