  1. You feel it weird thing. Is it because you still think schools are just for disseminating book knowledge to children? Schools are more than that. Book knowledge is critical, but so are things like social and cultural knowledge, things that are hard to convey through books alone. Students don't just accumulate practical knowledge. They also learn how to interact with other people, and schools provide a safe space for them to do it.
