Remember when you vote this election: Congress tried to raise emergency money for FEMA before the hurricanes hit. A hundred Republicans in the House and Senate tried to block them. This includes one senator each from North and South Carolina, over half of the Republican congressmen from Florida, and almost every single one of the major vocal MAGA members.

Imagine living in one of the most weather active places in the world and thinking the Democrats are attacking you after pretending for decades that "Climate change isn't real!" because it got in the way of your oil money. Hey, hey, you know that the Republicans intentionally voted to block FEMA from receiving additional funding before Helene and are currently refusing to hold session until after the election so they can moan about how the Democrats are doing nothing, right? Your own party wants you to suffer so that you'll vote for them instead. Just remember: the congressional votes are public record. Do you have the courage to look at the list and see if your Representative and Senator were on the list?
