@G58 Just as a head's up, you do realize that the "lead shielding to cross the Van Allen Belts" is pure bullshit that you people pulled straight out of your asses, right? It's pure fiction that your leaders invented because they knew you'd be too dumb to check and is not based on any credible source. No spacecraft would ever use lead shielding because the Belts are BETA radiation, not x or gamma rays, and beta radiation requires low-density shielding because it CREATES secondary radiation when it interacts with heavy metals. That same process is how your x-ray machines create their x-rays in the first place - by shooting charged electrons at a piece of metal.
And here I thought JFK killed because over hiding aliens, or the Federal Reserve, or Vietnam, or something else. Kind of obvious that you people are making shit up if you can't even agree what it was over. You know, it's kind of sickening that you people take a man's death and lie about it, twisting into whatever pet conspiracy you want to push without a care in the world and for the most part, don't have the balls to call each other out on it even though pushing a different "reason he was killed" than you means they must be lying.

@G58 ...... are you really that stupid? Gee, if it's the wrong type of radiation for lead and the type of radiation in question is industrially shielded with aluminum, plastic, and acrylic glass to prevent bremsstrahlung, where the hell did you get your information from? For some reason, you people never give the scientific sources indicating that you would need lead shielding to cross it. It's because it doesn't exist. I can tell you exactly where you got this claim from. You repeated it because you were told it by another hoaxer and you just accepted it without question or doing any amount of research to seeing if it was actually true even though this flaw has been known for twenty years. Critical Thinking, am I right?
Bill Kaysing, Ralf Rene, Bart Sibrel, Jarrah White, David Percy, Marcus Allen... names ring any bells? You know, the people that 90% of you mindlessly parrot? The "lead shielding would be too heavy" is originally (or at least most notably) pushed by Bart Sibrel, who by the way is a con artist that tried manipulating his video evidence and got caught because he was stupid enough to think nobody would check.

@G58 I find it very unlikely that you have actually read the report for yourself. If you have, you would be in the .01% of hoaxers that have. Most of them just believe what they're told on Youtube. I have not read it in its entirety for myself, mostly because the academic websites that have it are expensive to read from, but as far as I'm aware from analysis and excerpts of it I've seen, nowhere in it does he ever claim that lead shielding out be needed. If it did, this figure would almost certainly be revised as more information was gathered (because like I said, WRONG TYPE OF RADIATION), but for some reason hoaxers think that only the very first initial readings have any meaning.
By the way, Van Allen watched some of those hoax videos claiming the Belts would have been certain death back in 2001 or so. He called it a bunch of nonsense and called you a bunch of amateurs that had no clue what you were doing and said you were making a mountain out of a molehill on a subject you have no understanding of. I'll find his exact words later when i can be bothered.
For reference, Bill Kaysing is the founder of your movement, Ralf Rene is one of your older major authors, Jarrah White is the #1 Apollo hoax Youtuber, Marcus Allen is your #1 Photographic Expert, Bart Sibrel is the creator of A Funny Thing happened on the Way to the Moon (the most popular hoax video, the one with the "faking the distance") and Astronauts Gone Wild (where he harasses the astronauts about swearing on the Bible and gets punched after chasing somebody through the street hurling insults while avoiding telling how he has a criminal record for stalking and trespassing), and David Percy is the creator of What Happened on the Moon (the other really popular hoax video), as well as the owner of Aulis, your #1 hoax website. These are all big names in your field.
Even if you have no read or watched their stuff directly, which I find rather unlikely, you have with almost 100% certainty heard their claims repeated on other videos because many, many of them do little more than repeat their claims or base their work upon it.
