Um.... to not use Before Christ because not everybody believes in your religion and yet has to use your calendar because you spread it to the entire world through conquest so many prefer to use it to avoid offending either themselves or viewers that wish to remain secular. If you're that offended, we could petition to change the calendar to the Buddhist one instead.
