  16. But cars have peaceful, non-violent use. Guns do not. Guns have no use except killing and threatening to kill. Of course.... cars require mandatory insurance, require mandatory yearly inspection and registration, and a mandatory license that can be suspended, has a minimum age and competency requirement, and requires regular renewal. Imagine if we had a "right to drive" in the constitution. Republicans would push unlicensed driving, call any of those things I mentioned "taking your rights away", and violently oppose the suspension of license for drunk or dangerous drivers.
