The reality is: your domestic producers will simply raise their prices artificially to match, because capitalism demands they sell for as high as they can while still getting sales. That's we've seen with foreign prices and tariffs before. Also, we tried tariffs to get out of the Great Depression. It ruined us when the rest of the world turned around and increased their tariffs on us.

There's special rules in the US for public figures (celebrities, public officials, prominent business leaders like Bill Gates, basically anybody noteworthy) that puts additional standards of proof for defamation called "actual malice". He would need proof that they knew or didn't care the claims were false and not genuine mistaken belief and that's generally hard to prove.

THERE'S NOBODY THERE. Trump and his supporters are lying about the turnout. That "200,000" is less than 10,000. We can all see the empty fields and empty stands. I've been to high school marching band competitions with a greater turnout. How blatantly do conservatives have to lie to your face before you stop believing them without question.
