@donkey3187 Under the 12th amendment, electors from a state may not cast their votes to both president and vice president are from their own state. If Trump picks Rubio, he either has to move his legal residence back to NY or someplace, or Trump has to win without the 30 electoral votes from Florida.

He can't pick Doanlds unless one of the two move out of state again. The 12th Amendment states the electors cannot cast their votes for both the president and the vice president from the same state as themselves, so either one of them has to change residency, or Flordia's 30 votes go to whoever wins between RFK and Biden. Or possibly nobody gets Florida's votes. I'm not sure.

Rubio can't unless Trump moves residency back to NY. The 12th Amendment prevents the electoral college electors from casting their votes for both the president and vice president from the same state as themselves.

Your lies are getting desperate. A child would do better.

You know that God's probably not very happy with you considering that MAGA has people literally praying to Trump right? Those false prophets and people that prayed before the golden statue you erected at a convention? In the old testament, that would have gotten America destroyed as an example. Also, Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, is accused of selling the Saudi prince's rivals to be tortured and murdered. If that's true, there is a 100% chance that Kushner will be damned and there's not a prayer you can give that will change God's mind.

@journeydodge5812 ..... and? That doesn't change the fact that it's unconstitutional for them to win the state unless one of them moves out.
1
@journeydodge5812 ....... because you responded to my comment as though loyalty somehow had something to do with my original post. If you responded to the wrong person, just admit you made an mistake.

He can't under the 12th Amendment unless Trump moves back to NY. The constitution forbids the state's college electors from voting for both a president and vice president from the same state as themselves.
1
It's also an unconstitutional pick unless Trump moves. Trump and Rubio are both legally Florida residents (as is Donalds). The 12th Amendment prevents a state's electoral college slate from voting for both a president and vice president that are residents of the same state as themselves.

@richietavarez1200 Well Rubio and Donalds can't, otherwise they lose their Congressional seats they'd be banking on should they lose. That means that Trump has to be the one to move out. I look forward to him complaining about the Constitution when he moves back to New York.

Carson's also one of the authors behind Project 2025 that everybody's been screaming about for the last week, so your defense about how the media's trying to portray Trump as backing something he doesn't endorse goes straight in the trash.
