No offense, but it's really hard to claim it to be ridiculous after Trump openly campaigned against McCain claiming that our POWs were not heroes because "I like people that weren't captured" and after multiple members of his own cabinet criticized him for attempting to bar wounded amputees from parades out of disgust and basically acting like Adrian Monk washing his hands after touching somebody after having a photo op with a disabled veteran. "Why do you bring people like that here? No one wants to see that, the wounded."
